Rhône Quays and ViaRhôna
The Rhône at the foot of the old town: a stroll along the quays and a stop on the ViaRhôna, the cycle route from Lake Geneva to the Mediterranean.

What to see, what to know
Bourg-Saint-Andéol stretches along the Rhône. From the quays, the eye travels from the river to the facades of the old town, overlooked by the Bishops' Palace and the church bell tower.
The town is also a stop on the ViaRhôna. This cycle route follows the Rhône valley from Lake Geneva to the Mediterranean and forms part of the European route EuroVelo 17.
Two ideas for a bike ride: the stage from Viviers to Lapalud via Bourg-Saint-Andéol (32 km), on greenways and quiet roads, or the "Rhône et patrimoine" (Rhône and heritage) loop between Bourg-Saint-Andéol and Viviers (35.5 km), which runs along both banks of the river. Routes and advice on the ViaRhôna website.
